Travel gear has a very important role on any journey. It can make your journey easy, safe, trouble free, and it can look good on you. So, depending on the type of journey or transportation, you have to choose the appropriate travel gear. If you are a low cost flights fan, a cabin bag-size backpack or a suitcase should be your choice. Also, with some of the new cabin bag restrictions, reduction to small backpack size like in Wizzair, travelers are forced to purchase a small cabin bag or pay additional rate for a bigger one.

It is very important to plan what clothes to wear during the journey depending on weather conditions, potential disease warnings, types of activities you are planning to do, etc. For example, if you are heading to a potential malaria areas, you should wear long sleeved shirts and pants instead shorts and short sleeved shirts. If you are going hiking in northern areas where weather can change suddenly, you should wear waterproof thermoactive clothing and waterproof boots.
